Will my home or workplace actually receive GreenPower?
It is not possible to track the flow of a unit of electricity. All mains electricity is presently purchased from the electricity pool or grid and the bulk of this energy comes from conventional power stations. However, every unit of energy purchased by GreenPower customers will be added into the grid from accredited renewable sources and therefore mean one less unit of energy generated from conventional sources. No changes to cabling or power poles is required.
