GreenPower lowers the cost of renewable hydrogen by offering free accreditation to hydrogen producers

Renewable hydrogen production through electrolysis uses large amounts of electricity. Certification of the renewable electricity supply is important to establish that renewable hydrogen producers purchase the required certificates and customers can trust that the hydrogen was made using renewable energy.

GreenPower will exempt renewable hydrogen producers from GreenPower program fees until and including 2030 to support the renewable hydrogen sector.
