GreenPower Connect
GreenPower Connect is a way for organisations to directly support a specific renewable energy project. With GreenPower Connect, your business can get all its green certificates from that project, making your achievement more tangible and transparent.
GreenPower Connect is a tangible way for organisations to provide direct support to renewable energy generators, like a specific wind or solar farm. Your purchasing power can help a new renewable energy project get off the ground, supporting regional jobs while reducing your environmental impact.
How it works
An offtake agreement is an agreement between a power plant and a buyer, usually arranged before a facility (such as a renewable energy generator) is built.
Corporate organisations, government and buying groups are increasingly interested in entering into direct arrangements like this with specific renewable energy projects. These are often called Power Purchasing Agreements (PPAs).
GreenPower Connect is a low-cost way for a large customer to get accredited GreenPower from their chosen renewable energy project.
