Annual Audit Report 2022: GreenPower sales increased by 31% in 2022

The National GreenPower Accreditation Program Annual Compliance Audit for 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022 has now been published. The report includes customer numbers and sales figures for different jurisdictions for each GreenPower Product. 

GreenPower has seen a 31% increase in sales in 2022 compared to the previous year. A total of 1,527,761 MWh of GreenPower was sold to almost 260,000 businesses and households in Australia. This is the fourth year in a row that GreenPower sales have increased.  

Businesses are continuing to deliver on their emissions reduction commitments and are choosing GreenPower to purchase accredited renewable electricity. In 2022, over 30,000 businesses purchased over 1.1m MWh of renewable electricity through GreenPower, an increase of 45% compared to the year before.  

Providers and generators continue to show high compliance with the program requirements.
