The MidCoast is a vast and varied region of over 10,000 square kilometers, encompassing 195 towns, villages, and localities stretching from the rainforest highlands of Barrington Tops to the beaches of Forster, Harrington and Hawks Nest. MidCoast Council is committed to reducing our carbon emissions and helping our communities adapt to the impacts of climate change. Thanks to the investment in GreenPower for small water and sewer assets, solar energy, and energy efficiency improvements, MidCoast Council is well on its way to achieving its net zero emissions goal by 2040.
