This includes making sure the renewable energy you purchase from your retailer comes from an accredited renewable energy source; that it’s added to the grid on your behalf; and that it is additional to renewables already added to the grid under the government’s Renewable Energy Target.
Independent audit
All GreenPower electricity retailers are independently audited every year to make sure they purchase the correct amount of large scale generation certificates (LGCs) from accredited renewable energy generators.
