The rules outline the terms and conditions for participant involvement in the Renewable Gas Certification process
The rules have been designed to enable the Renewable Gas Certification scheme to meet its key objectives, which are to support the decarbonisation of gas use in Australia by displacing fossil natural gas with low-emission renewable gas.
The Renewable Gas Certification Rules provide information on the scheme’s objectives, terms and conditions, participant eligibility and accreditation criteria, renewable gas certificates, the online registry platform, participation fees, auditing and reporting.
